With partnerships with almost all leading consumer durables and automobile manufacturers, GE Money offers simple, convenient and innovative consumer finance programs for individuals and corporates.
GE Money has been a pioneer in India's retail finance segment. We innovated processes to reduce approval time to as low as 30 minutes. Introduced novel schemes in Durable loans and targeted previously untapped segments for Personal loans. Our comprehensive programs have helped retailers achieve higher sales, greater customer loyalty and increased competitiveness. |
PMC handles the following for GE Money for their Indian Operations. All these operations are centralised in Chennai, India. PMC has been issued Certificates for achieving 6 Sigma Quality level in operations.
CPPF - Centralised Post Dated Cheque Processing Facility:
PMC handles roughly an inventory of around 8.5 million instruments and a monthly inflow of about 0.9 million instruments and presentation of over 0.8 million instruments. PMC handles the Health Check, Data-Entry and Verification, Sorting, Vault- In and Management, Retrievals for presentation, Swaps, Foreclosures, Bounced and all related issues. The entire work is in a computer environment. This concept / process has got the Best Practice Award for GE business world wide.

C S P F - Centralised Storage Management Facility:
CSPF was established to handle the entire retention of loan documents. Storage and tracking is monitored by software developed by PMC and upgraded by GE subsequently. PMC has, in its custody, documents for more than 1.2 million accounts.
Currently 35 Staff are engaged in this activity.
BOT - COPS:
A state-of-the-art processing facility was setup in 45 days as per GE's requirements for their Centralised Operations. This was successfully managed by us for around 2 years after which the entire facility was taken over by GE.
COPS Off-line:
COPS of GE Money manages around 37 branches located across the country and PMC has more than 52 employees managing this process for them.
COPS On-line:
PMC has more than 230 employees managing this process. Here we access the Online Imaged document and we do the data-capturing, Credit appraisal and Credit purchase within minimum TAT, in a newly setup state-of-the-art facility in Chennai, with 24/7/365 operational capability.
